Wellington is not just the capital city of New Zealand, it is a contemporary city of the world and a fantastic place in which to live, work and play. Nestled between a beautiful harbour and green majestic hills, Wellington has it all with its excellent cafes and resturants, shopping and theatres and a large variety of parks. Due to Wellington being a compact city, most people walk around it instead of driving. It has five cinema complexes, and a large number of theatres. The Museum of New Zealand (Te Papa) is located on the waterfront and within a few minutes walk is the sand of Oriental Bay. The 'Courtenay Quarter' is where people go to enjoy the nightlife after working during the day closer to Lambton Quay and The Terrace.
