A sunny character city suburb, Mt Cook is one of Wellingtons oldest areas, within easy walking distance of many of the capital city's attractions. It is home to Massey Universitys Wellington camupus, Wellington High School, the Colonial Cottage Museum and the National War Memorial. There are also a number of cafes dotted trhoughout the suburb and public transport is easy to use and very regular.
