 An inner suburb of Wellington, it lies on the southeastern flanks of Mt Victoria, 3.5 kilometres southeast of the city centre. Situated on the shores of Evans Bay, numerous small bays and beaches dot the shoreline between Hataitai and the centrak city. It has a terrific range of walks (through the Town Belt and around the coast). Hataitai has good primary schools, plenty of buses and a range of parks and shops. It's a great family area.
